Tips on trips
We would like to give you some useful tips on how to spend an active holiday in our inn.
1st tip
Hike into nearby surroundings of the Oáza Inn. We recommend a visit of rock formations of Klenov on top of which a castle Freunsberg stood a long time ago.
2nd tip
Visit of Pustevny a place with exquisite architectural memorials of Dušan Jurkovič, Radhošť and the statue of Radegast. Places with spectacular view. If you plan to go to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, don’t forget to visit Valašské muzeum v přírodě (Open-air museum of Valašsko)
3rd tip
Visit of the wooden toleration church in Velká Lhota. From there to Valašské Meziříčí. You can choose between several options, one of the routes would lead you to the Medůvka Rocks.
4th tip
Zoo Lešná ranks as one of the most beautiful ZOOs in the Czech Republic. There is a castle located in the area of the ZOO which is open to the public. You can also visit Kroměříž (or click here), a town famous for its chateau with its gallery and beautiful gardens.
5th tip
Soláň and Velké Karlovice are those places where you can admire characteristic country architecture in its original setting. Also the timbered church Kostel Panny Marie Sněžné is well worth visiting. There is a Jewish cemetery located near the road to Soláň used from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century.
6th tip
Hrad Brumov - a royal castle from Medieval times located in the south-east of Valašsko. In the past it was used to defend a mountain pass called Vlárský průsmyk.
7th tip
You can visit one of the castles in nearby surroundings as well:
- Štramberk a Štramberská trúba a ruin of the castle. Just its tower has remained and nowadays serves as an observation tower. In the town of Štramberk, you’ll find a museum of the illustrator and painter Zdeněk Burian. You can also visit the cave Šipka famous for its archaeological finds.

A castle dominating a town of the same name. It’s a birthplace of the famous composer Leoš Janáček. One of the biggest Moravian castles. - Helfštýn

8th tip
